The Potters Hands

A Potters BLOG

Mind Body and Clay

When you hand build or wheel throw clay you can experince D” all the above, each mood, feeling or emotion can teach you something about the clay, that can make you a better potter. Clay goes threw physical states as it is being weighed,Centered, formed, bisqued, glazed, and fired, this is where some of the Imperfections are born, as the clay is being shaped.

Follow us on this Journey, of Mental, Physical, and emotional changes that I, experience while transforming greenware { wet raw clay} to leather hard {clay that has dried a little} and finaly bone dry { clay that contains no moisture and is ready for glaze firing} which turns the pieces into creative pottery, see how this pottery journey ends!

(Journey begins September 11, 26)
